A:
You can fill out an
online request form with the information of the book you would
like us to buy. To help us prioritize these requests, please indicate the
reason this material should be added to our collection. You can also

Q:
How do I suggest a new journal subscription for the Library to purchase?
A:
You can fill out the
online request form with the information of the
journal to which you would like us to subscribe.

Q: Where can I find the Library's catalog of local
holdings? A:
The Library catalog can be accessed by both Web and telnet from the
main http://catalogs.ohsu.edu.
Q: What library services (real and virtual) are available to the
general public (non-employees and non-students)?
A:
Interlibrary Loan, Photocopy service, Loansome Doc, Oregon Link, and
Health Information by Mail are all available to the general public in Oregon
for a fee. For more information, please see the listing on our

OHSU.
Q: What journals are available in the Library? A:
The Library's periodical holdings are included in the library catalog, available at
http://catalogs.ohsu.edu/. The catalog includes detailed holdings and location information,
including the most recent issues received. In addition, a list of print journal subscriptions can be
viewed through the catalog.
For a list of full-text electronic
journals available from Marquam Hill Campus, the West Campus or off-campus, go to
http://www.ohsu.edu/library/ejournals/.
The OHSU Library may not have books or journals you need. You can check
other library catalogs to see if they are available locally. You can
also use other catalogs to see if there are other books, audiovisuals,
etc. available on your topic. Following are links to local library
catalogs as well as libraries that have far greater collections than
OHSU, such as the National Library of Medicine and the Library of Congress.
