Spanish Healthcare Interpreter Program
The Oregon AHEC Spanish Health Care Interpreting Program
has been developed to address an emerging need for training
idetnified by Oregon health care emploeyrs serving increaseing
populations of low English proficiency (LEP) and non-Engligh
proficient (NEP) Spanish-speaking patients. This program was
developed to bring training to local communities across Oregon.
Do you live in Hood River, The Dalles, Hermiston, Heppner,
Pendleton, Milton-Freewater or La Grande? Classes will be
offered at Good Shepard Medical Center in Hermiston beginning
September 12th.
