Biography

Roger Adams spends most of his time maintaining, monitoring and coordinating activities within the Bioprocessing clean rooms located at 9555 SE Barnes Rd in the Peterkort Center.  This 1866 square foot facility consists of two ISO Class 7 clean rooms and one ISO Class 6 clean room. The clean rooms contain two chemical fume hoods, two biological safety cabinets and four CO2 Incubators backed up with an APC Smart UPS 10000VA. The clean rooms have provision for up to three gasses as well as filtered compressed air and vacuum.  The clean rooms also contain the opening face of a Vertis Benchmark 4 shelf lyophilizer. 

Before coming to the CRM, Mr. Adams worked at Providence Health and Services. He served as the Lab Facility Operations Coordinator, responsible for smooth functioning of multiple research activities in a 12,200 Sq.Ft facility.  He assisted in the planning and construction of three research clean rooms, a Confocal Imaging Suite and Bioreactor/Fermenter process lab.   Mr. Adams' position at Providence required extensive work in a variety of settings, including customer service in a professional environment as well as supply chain, distribution, warehousing and logistics management. 

Mr. Adams has also worked as a Chemist/Facility Engineer/Functional Lab Manager, at the OSU Coastal Oregon Marine Experiment Station Seafood Research Laboratory in Astoria. There he facilitated seafood research, kept the analytic instrumentation calibrated and functional and maintained the seafood processing pilot plant 

Outside of work, Mr. Adams is an avid skier and long distance runner.  He has skied all across the US and has competed in 95 marathons as of March 2020.
