Participant Recruitment Survey Results & Recruitment Toolkit Launch

In Fall 2018 OCTRI in collaboration with Clinical Research United surveyed the research community to identify which subject recruitment tools are being used and what their perceived value is. On Thursday, January 24th come learn what the survey results revealed. Also at this session we will be rolling out the OCTRI Recruitment Toolkit and plans for the coming year related to subject recruitment and how we can improve accrual to clinical trials at OHSU.

Including Older Adults in Research: Implementing the NIH Lifespan Policy and Recruitment Strategies

As of January 25th, 2019 all NIH proposals must adhere to the Inclusion Across the Lifespan policy. Come hear Dr. Elizabeth Eckstrom speak about how this will impact your research and hear about best practices for recruiting older adults from a panel of experienced researchers including: Riana Croff, PhD, Melanie Abrahamson-Somme, MPH and Allison Lindauer, PhD, NP.

OCTRI Design Studio: Get Feedback on Your Research Project from Senior Faculty

Are you submitting a career development K award, your first R01, or a similar major grant?  OCTRI Design Studio is an opportunity for basic and clinical scientists to present their research and receive constructive feedback from OHSU senior scientists to improve chances of award success.

Design Studio is held monthly on the 2nd Tuesday and has openings on:
