CD2H Managing Translational Informatics Projects on Sept 21

Translational Informatics projects are increasingly cross-institutional and even international.  Managing them comes with lots of shared pain points. This one-day workshop will provide hands on training to anyone who is managing cross-functional distributed teams that develop code or that analyze data across the translational divide. We will introduce several practical tools and techniques for managers to facilitate these kinds of endeavors and to make informed decisions about which tools might work best for their particular contexts.

Friday, September 21, 2018
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. PST
Robertson Life Sciences Building (RLSB) on the OHSU SW Waterfront
Remote participation options available.  Registration required, please register here.

This event is open to anyone, but priority will be given to informatics programs and project managers, as well as PIs that may function in this role.  No prior knowledge of any of the tools is required, and participation in any or all of the modules is warmly welcome.
