Taking Charge of My Health Care

Coming this Fall!

The Taking Charge of My Health Care project is a toolkit of resources and videos designed to provide health and health care advocacy education for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and those who support them.

The toolkit provides people with I/DD the option to learn to advocate for themselves, as well as to use the materials to conduct a workshop for their peers. Covering 18 topics, including transition, this comprehensive resource contains information specific to the health and health care needs of people with I/DD.

This project is led by the Oregon Self-Advocacy Coalition with support from the Oregon Office on Disability and Health and our UCEDD.
