Oregon Pancreas Tissue Registry

The Oregon Pancreas Tissue Registry (OPTR) collects health information and biospecimens from patients seen at OHSU for pancreatic cancer, syndromes related to pancreatic cancer, chronic pancreatitis, or those with a family history of pancreatic cancer. We are collecting specimens from patients undergoing pancreatic surgery, pancreatic treatment, and endoscopic ultrasound procedures.

OPTR samples and data are used in the Brenden-Colson Center for Pancreatic Care research efforts and, as a community resource, is critical for the advancement of our pancreatic cancer research. We are grateful to our patients who gladly consent to donating their tissue and giving blood for pancreas research.
