Breath by Breath

Breath by Breath

The Center for Women's Health and the Department of General Internal Medicine are excited to offer Breath by Breath, a mindfulness-based stress reduction drop-in class. 

Participants are led by a trained instructor in learning to control stress naturally and begin a self-guided meditation practice.

All sessions are held in conference room 13000A, on the 13th floor of Kohler Pavilion. There is no cost to attend.

Every second and fourth Monday from 6:30-7:30p.m.
Every third Friday from 9:30-10:30a.m. (beginning November 20, 2015)

Oregon Women's Health Network 2015 lecture series

The next meeting of the Oregon Women's Health Network will be on Friday, December 4. The theme of this month's lectures is "Under Pressure: the Economics of Women's Health." Expert speakers will discuss topics related to poverty and generational health.

Speakers include representatives from Family Forward, the City of Portland Housing Bureau, and Bradley Angle.

Global collaboration in Ethiopia

Ethiopia Collaboration
An OHSU team recently returned completed 49 surgical procedures for pelvic organ prolapse in addition to providing educational efforts in family planning and midwifery. This was the first trip in our collaborative relationship with Gimbie Adventist Hospital.
