About me

Dr. Angeles Peña is a general pediatrician who enjoys caring for patients from infancy to young adulthood. She likes developing unique relationships with each family, partnering with them to help them raise healthy children. Above all she is honored by the trust families have given her, which has allowed her to care for their children from one generation to the next.

Prior to moving to Portland in 2001, Dr. Peña practiced pediatrics in the San Francisco Bay area. In addition to caring for patients, she is active teaching medical students and pediatric residents.

In her free time, Dr. Peña enjoys spending time with her husband and their two grown children. She loves hiking, reading, exploring new restaurants and travelling.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
