Nina Lamble was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor in Social Work. During undergrad she completed her social work internship, working with the Refugee population in Kansas City, Missouri. She was very active in Student Senate and served on the Student Health, Multicultural, and Environmental Advisory Boards. Nina enjoyed volunteering with various organizations, including the time she spent as an English language tutor for native Farsi speaking students. She matriculated to medical school at the University of Kansas in Kansas City where she met classmate and future husband, Adam, in her first year. Adam and Nina got married at the end of fourth year and both matched at OHSU for residency (Adam into Pediatrics). During medical school, Nina had the opportunity to travel to Belize and India and was also involved with the Medical Student Assembly. She has interests in both Hematology/Oncology and Pulmonary & Critical Care, and she loves working with the geriatric population. Nina is an avid KU basketball fan and enjoys trying new restaurants with friends.
