"I look forward to partnerships with my patients and their families, and am committed to serve as their advocate as they navigate the health care system."
I came to OHSU in part for its belief in the power of primary care, and I look forward to working within a medical home that embraces partnership and teamwork. Continuity is also particularly rewarding to me, and I am especially grateful for the opportunity to care for multiple generations over time. Ultimately, I believe that health and wellness are dependent on a holistic approach to medicine. For this reason I am committed to leaving time for stories and humor, and centering care within the context of a patient's community and culture.
As a native Oregonian, I am absolutely thrilled to be staying in Portland in the next four years as part of the Combined Family Medicine/Preventive Medicine Program. I have lived in SE Portland for many years, and in my free time I enjoy hiking, playing music with friends, and biking between the city's many coffee shops, food carts and music venues.
