Dianna Bardo, M.D.
- Special Interest:
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Accepting Patients:
"It is important to me and my co-researchers to protect children and young adults from undue exposure to medical radiation whenever possible."
Dr. Bardo specializes in MRI and CT imaging of children and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. Dr. Bardo also specializes in MRI and CT imaging of children and adults with brain, spine, and other neurological diseases. As a pediatric radiologist, she also is the OHSU specialist in fetal MRI – they are her ‘future’ patients, of course.
Following a residency in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Bardo completed advanced fellowship training in pediatric radiology and neuroradiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Before entering medical school, Dr. Bardo earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fine Art from Illinois State University. Diagnostic Radiology is therefore a really unique fit for her. As she says: "My medical practice is nearly all about the image! My ingrained talent for visual art and undergraduate training enhance my abilities as a Radiologist, incorporating the science learned in medical school and residency."
When outside the University, Dr. Bardo enjoys hiking, painting, and family.
