Our Services

When you choose OHSU you have access to leaders in dermatologic care, with decades of combined experience. We offer you a one-stop medical care setting for all problems related to the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes, whether you require routine treatment or specialized expertise. As an academic health center practice, we have highly trained doctors, many of whom provide sub-specialized care within the field of dermatology.

Clinical Services

General Medical Dermatology

The General Medical Dermatology clinic covers the majority of dermatologic conditions such as skin cancer (including annual skin checks), acne, vitiligo, rosacea, unusual moles or rashes, warts, non-healing wounds and most other dermatologic conditions including those that have not been diagnosed. There are 11 providers available within the General Medical Dermatology clinic, including one Physician Assistant and two Nurse Practitioners.

Specialty Services

Many of our doctors have special expertise in specific dermatological conditions and offer specialized clinics for people with those issues. The specialty clinics include psoriasis, nail disorders, contact dermatitis, eczema (atopic dermatitis), phototherapy treatment, HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases, a non-melanoma skin cancer clinic for high-risk patients, and mole mapping for people with a history of melanoma or unusual moles.

Pediatric Dermatology

We have three board-certified pediatric dermatologists, who specialize in the care and treatment of children and the dermatologic conditions that are unique to them.

Surgical Dermatology

Our skin cancer experts provide diagnostic and surgical expertise in the removal and treatment of basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, melanoma, and other benign and pre-cancerous skin growths. Additionally, the department specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, an advanced treatment procedure for skin cancer.
