Surface Laser

Surface laser therapy is typically performed in conjunction with sclerotherapy for minor to moderate varicose and spider veins. For patients with minor to moderate varicose and spider veins, surface laser therapy is typically performed in conjunction with sclerotherapy; the treatments are tailored depending on the size and location of the spider and varicose veins. This procedure involves a beam of energy focused on spider and minor varicose veins to shrink the size of the veins to reduce the appearance. The length of the procedure(s) will vary based on the pre-determined treatment plan as well as the number of veins to be treated. Once treatment is complete, the use of compression stockings for two weeks to aid in healing is recommended.
