Join the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute for an event to educate, detect, and advance the science of skin cancer prevention and treatment all in one place. The event will include presentations by OHSU researchers, free skin cancer screenings, opportunities to participate in research studies, and an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the most natural redheads in one place at one time! AIM at Melanoma will also be hosting a community walk and fun run to raise awareness around skin cancer. All proceeds from the walk will support the Department of Dermatology's participation in a Melanoma Tissue Bank Consortium.

Cancer survivors of all ages, their friends, families, and health care providers are invited to Portland's annual National Survivors Day Celebration. This free event includes light refreshments, henna tattoos, gift basket giveaways, community resource booths, as well as special guest speakers Dianne Danowski Smith and Dr. Vinay Prasad, hematologist and medical oncologist at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute.
