March 5, 2016 - Komen Breast Cancer Issues Conference
OHSU patients and health care professionals are invited to attend Susan G. Komen's annual Breast Cancer Issues Conference. Attendees will learn about topics such as understanding lymphedema, communicating about cancer with loved ones, new targeted treatments for breast cancer, closing the racial survival disparity gap, and more. Keynote speaker Annie Parker, author of the book and inspiration for the film Decoding Annie Parker, will speak about hereditary cancer and high risk groups. March 13 & 14, 2016 - Oregon Cancer Ski Out
Head out to Mt. Hood Meadows for the 28th Annual Oregon Cancer Ski Out, a two-day event for skiers and snowboarders that combines fun, competition, and fundraising with a unique racing format designed to let even novice skiers or snowboarders participate in the fight against cancer.
