At the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, we personalize your treatment for melanoma. Our team of dermatologists (skin doctors) and oncologists (cancer doctors) provides treatment for all stages of the disease, and meets frequently to discuss your care. We are also actively engaged in research to bring the best care to all people with melanoma and other skin cancers.

Melanoma Treatment Options

We provide all aspects of melanoma treatment. Treatment for melanoma often involves removing tissue: This may be possible during an office visit, or it may require surgery. In some cases, that is all the treatment you will need. Sometimes, a sentinel node biopsy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy or targeted therapies or radiation may be required.
