Support Services

Our Holistic Approach to Care

We have a variety of services to support you through treatment, focusing on you as a whole person and not just your breast cancer.  Ask the breast cancer nurse coordinator to assist you in getting connected with these resources.

Cancer counselors

We have licensed clinical social workers on staff to assist you with your emotional health during treatment. They are trained to provide support, resources, and guidance specific to patients with cancer.

Through our family medicine department we have access to medical doctors with special training in Chinese Medicine and acupuncture as well as experienced Chinese medicine practitioners and Acupuncturists.  Many patients find it helpful, for example, to get acupuncture right before or after chemotherapy to help reduce side effects.

Registered dietitians are on staff for any questions and are present during our Infusing Knowledge class on chemotherapy.  We can set you up for a one-on-one consultation at any time for specific needs and questions.

We offer a variety of classes at any given time, check our schedule for the most updated information. Currently we are offering classes in yoga and mindfulness based stress reduction.

Patient Navigator

Our American Cancer Society Patient Navigator can help you navigate cancer care services such as cancer information, community-based resources, transportation, lodging and free wigs/head coverings.
