Cancer Care

A Team Approach to Cancer

Cancer takes many forms. Although diagnoses and treatments may vary, one thing remains constant: our commitment to the health and well-being of our patients. Experts at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute are working in all areas of cancer care, from advances in breast and lung cancer to new treatments for leukemia and prostate and colorectal cancer. Many of our doctors focus their efforts, and treat patients, in a single area of cancer. No other place in Oregon offers such a range of expertise and specialization.

Experts working together create  innovation, momentum and discovery. The result? Breakthroughs happen faster — and reach patients sooner. This philosophy is an important part of a patient’s experience with us. Our coordinated approach to cancer care brings experts from different specialties together to develop a customized treatment plan for each of our patients.
