About me

Berklee Robins M.D. is a native of New York. He attended the University of Rochester, where he graduated with a B.A. in biology and a minor in philosophy. He then attended Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Stanford University, and finished his anesthesia training in pediatric anesthesiology at The Children's Hospital in Boston, where he also served as chief fellow. Following a year on staff at Vanderbilt University, he moved to Portland, where he has been on staff at OHSU since 1996.

His academic interests include management of pediatric patients with difficult airways, and care of children with special needs. He enjoys taking care of children who have been adopted from overseas. His other areas of interest are health care ethics. He is has completed 2 certificate programs and has an MA in Bioethics and Health Health Policy.

In addition, he volunteers on humanitarian trips overseas, providing anesthesia care to children with cleft lip and/or cleft palate in less developed nations.
