About me

Dr. Nguyen is proud to see patients at the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC).

Dr. Nguyen is a licensed pediatric psychologist at the Child Development Rehabilitation Center (CDRC) at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Nguyen is an associate professor of pediatrics. She is involved with direct patient care in the hemophilia, spina bifida, craniofacial, metabolic, and neurology clinics. Dr. Nguyen provides psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological evaluations to assess ADD/ADHD, learning disability, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, craniosystnostosis and children with chronic medical illness.

Dr. Nguyen also specializes in infant testing. She also provides short-term and long-term individual and family psychology outpatient treatment. Diagnostic issues include: family trauma, adherence to medical treatment, adjustment to chronic illness, depression, anxiety, ADD/HD and learning disability. Dr. Nguyen is also available for inpatient neuropsychological or psychological consultation. She consults with referring physicians and/or multidisciplinary medical teams regarding the patient’s care.

OHSU is a teaching hospital and part of Dr. Nguyen’s responsibility is supervising psychology practicum students and APA interns. Dr. Nguyen attends and lectures at pediatric psychology didactics and meetings held at the CDRC or within the Portland, Oregon community. She attends patient management meetings and hospital grand rounds.

Dr. Nguyen is a proud mother of two children and enjoys spending time camping with her family.
