About me

Dr. Littlefield completed her undergraduate degree with honors in Biology (with minors in Chemistry and French) at the University of Utah in 2008 and graduated at the top of her class with honors from medical school at Touro University in 2013.  She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency here at OHSU in 2016 and was honored to serve as a chief resident from 2016-2017.  Now, in her work as a Clinical and Medicine Teaching Service hospitalist, she emphasizes thoughtful consideration of complex medical scenarios, clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families, multidisciplinary teamwork, evidence-based medical decision making, teaching of residents and medical students whenever possible, and the continuous exercise of lifelong learning herself.  Dr. Littlefield's academic interests include improving interdisciplinary medical communication, medical education, transitions of care, cost-conscious care, and physician burnout/wellness. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Littlefield is a Bikram method yoga instructor (since 2009) and enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, waterskiing, cooking/baking, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
