Metabolic Disorders Program

The Metabolic Program at CDRC is the only program of its kind in the state, offering services and evaluations to patients with a wide range of metabolic conditions.

Using a team approach, the CDRC Metabolics Disorders Program at OHSU provides expert diagnosis, follow-up, treatment and counseling for infants and children with genetic or suspected genetic disorders. Although primarily a pediatric clinic, the Metabolic Disorders Program also provides consultation and care for adult patients with a confirmed diagnosis of a metabolic disorder.

The program is staffed by board-certified clinical geneticists, a nurse practitioner and clinical dieticians.

The Metabolic Program at CDRC is the only one of its kind in the state. It is one of a network of national and international centers that share information and experience allowing for increased availability to the latest advances in treatment for genetic metabolic disorders.
