Biography

Working in various nursing areas over the years including ICU, Emergency and Flight nursing, I have to say teaching nursing is absolutely the most rewarding and satisfying. I began at OHSU in 2002 teaching clinical to UG BSN students and continue to do so currently. I still see many of the students I have worked with and now see them as preceptors, managers, excellent bedside nurses, advanced practice nurses, DNP practitioners, and even clinical teachers. This is what I find so wonderful, to see former students changing nursing for the better and bringing new voices into this complex world of health care.
