"To facilitate, drive and manage the innovation process for busy surgeons"

The Surgical Innovation Program is designed to:

  • Connect with internal OHSU resources (TTBD & OCTRI) and outside entities to identify support for innovation
  • Assist our innovators through business plan development
  • Sponsor an annual Innovation Summit to increase learning and to facilitate building new product programs

Faculty Innovation Resources

The University serves as a catalyst for the region's bioscience industry and is an incubator of discovery with more than 3,000 research projects underway. During the 2012 fiscal year, OHSU earned $359 million in research funding.
