  • Public Transportation - The MAX Red Line runs directly from PDX to downtown Portland. Cost is $2.50 one-way and takes approximately 35-40 minutes. Once downtown, the MAX intersects with bus routes and the Portland Streetcar. Use TriMet Trip Planner to find quickest route.

Public transit

  • TriMet - From Marquam Hill Campus, the 8 Bus is the main line to and from downtown. Departures are approximately every 10-15 minutes. The 8 bus intersects with both the MAX and Streetcar. Other bus routes at OHSU are: 61,64,65,66,68.
  • Portland Streetcar - The Streetcar intersects with OHSU's Center for Health & Healing (CHH) at the South Waterfront.
  • Portland Aerial Tram - Connects the Marquam Hill campus with the South Waterfront campus.

Driving

Parking can be tricky at OHSU's main campus on Marquam Hill. We encourage visitors to use rideshare, public transit or taxi when possible. If you do drive, please plan ahead and know where you will be parking. You can visit OHSU's Transportation & Parking site to learn more about where to park and current daily rates. To purchase an all-day virtual parking permit, go to OHSU Daily Permits.

Hotels

We have compiled a list of recommended hotels for your Portland stay. Some hotels offer shuttle service to Marquam Hill - inquire about a shuttle when making your reservation.
