Jordan Cusick, BS; Research Assistant II

Jordan currently serves as the Research Assistant for the department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. He joined our team in August of 2014 but has been an employee of OHSU since April of 2012, working for the Knight Cancer Institute Clinical Trials department as a research assistant. His responsibilities encompass assisting the pediatric anesthesiologists with research study coordination.

Jordan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon. He enjoys cycling, running, cooking, reading, and brewing beer.

Janna Higgins; Senior Research Assistant

Janna Higgins

Janna currently works as a Senior Research Assistant in the department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. She joined our team in July of 2015 but has been an employee of OHSU for the past several years. Janna graduated with her master'sdegree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2015, primarily focusing on ways to improve public health care policy. In her spare time, Janna likes to work out, read books, and go hiking.

Janna will be working on clinical study coordination for the adult in-patient Intensive Care Unit and Pain Center studies as well asassisting APOM researchers with actives related to regulatory/IRB procedures.

Mike Kampp, BS; Research Associate

Mike Kampp

Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University and also completed post baccalaureate coursework at Portland State University. For the past eight years, he's been a researcher in the Emergency Department here at OHSU, primarily focusing on clinical trials in the emergency setting. Mike is an avid sports fan —"go Cubs, Bears, Beavers, and Blazers!" He also loves cooking, hiking, restoring vintage furniture, and buzzer beaters.

In his new role, Mike will be working on clinical study coordination and will be assisting APOM researchers with activities related to regulatory/IRB procedures.
