Behavioral Neuroscience Students and Faculty receive recognition in the 13th Annual All-Hill FLAME Awards

The 13th Annual All-Hill FLAME awards ceremony recognized Behavioral Neuroscience students and faculty on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. The FLAME awards are an all-hill run award ceremony where students nominate other students and faculty under several categories.

Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director, Garet Lahvis, was runner up for the award granted to a faculty member who goes above and beyond their duties to support students.

MD/PhD graduate student, Mollie Marr, won first place for the leadership in student service award and PhD candidate, Brittany Alperin, was the runner up. PhD candidate, Eileen Torres, was also nominated for this award.

Alliance for Visible Diversity in Science won the Forging the Way award which is for a student group whose work impacts the lives of others. Eileen is an active member of this group and received the award of their behalf.
