Daniel Petrisor, MD, DMD ’03, (pictured), was featured in the October 18 edition of The Oregonian, along with fellow alumnus Brett Ueeck, MD ’03, DMD ’99, OMFS ’05.

The article, entitled Mending Matia, chronicled the complex reconstructive surgery Dr. Petrisor and colleagues performed to remove an oral tumor and replace the lower jaw of four year-old Matia Simion.

Dr. Petrisor had previously shared part of Matia’s story during the 2013 Kenneth Cantwell Lecture and Margaret M. Ryan Dental Hygiene Update, which he co-presented with Cynthia Kleinegger, DDS, MS.
