Major Responsibilities

  • Manages Access Services staff to ensure the library provides effective and positive customer service; continually improves services through ongoing training and assessment within department and coordination with other units in the library
  • Oversees and develops an evolving set of access services including circulation, resource sharing, and support for electronic content delivery platforms
  • Responsible for ensuring that the library is open and the service points are staffed during all open hours
  • Manages and leads the development of access services technologies including resource sharing systems and aspects of the discovery platform
  • Coordinates space planning projects for the library’s collections
