Community Supported Agriculture

What is a CSA?

Over the last 20 years, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Here are the basics: A farmer offers a certain number of "shares" to the public. Typically the share consists of a box of vegetables, but other farm products may be included. Interested consumers purchase a share (aka a "membership" or a "subscription") and in return receive a box (bag, basket) of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season.

This year Minto Island Grower's CSA will have 5 drop sites for OHSU, 2 on Marquam Hill and 3 off the hill:

On the hill:
Mac Hall- Room 1181
School of Nursing (site may change)

Off the hill:
OHSU Foundation building, 1121 S.W. Salmon Street, Suite 100, Portland, OR
Market Square Building, 1515 SW Fifth Ave., STE 900. Portland, OR 97201
South Waterfront, Go By Bike Valet Parking Trailer, corner of SW Moody and SW Gibbs

We are excited to work directly with Minto Island to provide fresh, Organic, locally grown produce to our
employees and the greater OHSU community.
