Qualitative Study of HPV Self-Collection Experience and Cervical Cancer Screening in Patients With a History of Sexual Trauma

The purpose of this study is to explore the HPV self-collection experience among individuals with a history of sexual trauma.

Office-based pelvic exams may pose as a barrier to cervical cancer screening for sexual trauma victims. This study will conduct individual interviews to evaluate the self-collection screening experience in this population with the goal of expanding cancer screening access.
