Continuous Core Body Temperature and the Onset of Parturition in Women

SON - Body Temperature Study

Dr. Elise Erickson, Ph.D., CNM is studying how body temperature changes before labor starts line up with when labor begins using an FDA approved device. You will be asked to wear a small flat device on your skin that measures body temperature continuously and answer a few questions each day about your activities until labor starts.

You may be eligible if you:

• are between 36 and 38 weeks pregnant
• are planning a vaginal birth
• are willing to use your smartphone for the study (iphone/android)
• have given birth previously

Compensation

Participants are compensated $50 per week for up to $200.
