Transplant Picnic

Tx Picnic

Oregon Health & Science University has hosted an event for organ donors, transplant recipients, and family members & caretakers to celebrate the gift of life nearly every year since 1994. The opportunity to socialize with others who have been through a similar life-changing experience makes this a much-anticipated event. Activities typically include a catered picnic, group photographs, children's activities, guest speakers and door prizes for participants of all ages to enjoy.

2022 Transplant Picnic

The Annual OHSU Transplant Picnic is a very special event to all of us at OHSU as well as to our patients, living donors, and families of deceased donors. We are sad to have to cancel this year's event due to COVID-19 concerns. Your health and safety is our first priority and we will miss seeing you this July.

Outreach clinics

Clinical Transplant Services at Oregon Health & Science University has established kidney transplant outreach clinics in Eugene and Medford for the convenience of pre-kidney transplant patients. Instead of our patients continuing the long road trips to Portland for their transplant evaluation, our physicians travel to those areas that are underserved in transplantation. We are currently considering other areas for these clinics.

For more information about our kidney transplant outreach clinics, please email. To schedule an appointment at one of our clinics, please call 503-494-8500.
