Technology Development Manager
In her current role as Technology Development Manager, Anne helps Knight Cancer Institute researchers evaluate, license, and commercialize their discoveries. She is excited to have the opportunity to work closely with the Knight’s researchers and to help them move their discoveries from the lab to the market where they can have a positive impact on patient health.
Prior to joining OHSU, Anne was a Post-Doctoral Researcher and an Assistant Research Biologist at UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. She then switched gears, moved to Portland and worked for twelve and a half years as a patent agent specializing in biotechnology patent law at the law firm Klarquist Sparkman, LLP. Anne has been actively involved with the Oregon Bioscience Association for many years and is one of the founding members of the Programs and Events Committee.
Anne received a Ph.D. in Anatomy and Cell Biology from UCLA, and Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biology from McGill University (Montreal, Canada). She is also licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a Registered Patent Agent.
Anne loves to travel, is an avid gardener and a sports enthusiast, and is currently working on improving her golf swing.
