Progressive Exercise Program for Lung Cancer: PEP-LC

New study opportunity

You can get active during or after your treatment for lung cancer!

PEP-LC is a research study designed to learn how a partnered gentle yoga program aimed to stretch and strengthen the body, may benefit lung cancer patients.

What is PEP-LC?

By joining the 12-week PEP-LC study, you will be invited to participate in gentle yoga classes to stretch and strengthen the body. For 6 weeks we will ask you to participate in 2 classes per week, and for the remaining 6 weeks we will ask you to participate in 1 class per week. Each class is 1 hour long and takes place at OHSU. Parking is provided.

As part of the study we will ask you to complete physical function tests and health surveys 3 times - at the beginning, middle and end of the study.

Who can participate?

If you have been diagnosed with lung cancer and have a partner (spouse, partner, family member or friend) who would be interested in participating, we encourage you to contact us! Call Anna Tyzik at 503-220-8262 x53037 or email
