Starting January 1, 2020, the OHSU Department of Radiation Medicine will add three new physicians to its roster in an effort to extend its services to the citizens of Roseburg.

Last week, OHSU signed a Professional Service Agreement with the Roseburg Community Cancer Center (CCC) allowing OHSU’s Department of Radiation Medicine to provide all radiation oncology physician services for the cancer center.

Roseburg CCC’s radiation oncology physician services will now be rendered by physicians within OHSU’s Department of Radiation Medicine.

“I am incredibly excited about this opportunity to enhance radiation oncology care in Roseburg and strengthen our connection with the Roseburg Community Cancer Center,” says Charles R. Thomas, M.D., professor and chair of the Department of Radiation Medicine. “We look forward to the opportunity to serve more patients across Oregon.”

As part of this agreement, three new physicians will officially join the OHSU Department of Radiation Medicine. Randy Moore, D.O., and Sylvia Gosline, M.D., are currently working at Roseburg CCC and will join the OHSU team over the next few months. The department is actively recruiting a third physician who will become the new Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Roseburg CCC.
