Ian Fields, M.D., M.C.R

Dr. Fields is a native of El Paso, Texas but traded in his cowboy boots and hat for winter coats and scarves after moving to Chicago to complete an undergraduate degree, medical school, and residency. After tiring of long winters, he moved out to Portland for Urogynecology fellowship at OHSU and was delighted to take on a faculty position with the division after graduation. In his time outside of medicine, he loves running, spinning, indulging on everything pop culture, live music, and enjoying Oregon's beautiful wine country.

Special interests in the residency program: surgical skills simulation and narrative medicine.

Education super power: citing primary literature in real-time while teaching in the clinic and operating room.

Amy Stenson, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Stenson grew up in northern Minnesota and has a deep love for the natural beauty of Oregon. She completed her medical training at UCLA and has lived or worked in many settings, most notably in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Beijing, China, Mbarare Uganda and London, UK, where she completed her masters degree in public health. She is married to Shaun, an engineer, and they have two lovely young children (Everett and Annalynn) and a 90 pound red Labrador retriever. Amy loves to grow plants, cook, run, hike and listen to music. In the winter you will find her in front of the fire drinking coffee (am) or wine (pm), and in the summer, you will find her doing the same thing out on the deck or in the park next door.

Special interests in the residency program: curriculum development, systems improvement and encouraging innovation.

Education super power: being a second mother for the residents.

Meg O'Reilly, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. O'Reilly is a long time Oregonian. She left Oregon for a bit to attend med school at Tulane University, returned to OHSU for her residency, and then off to rural America for a NHSC commitment before jumping back to her favorite OHSU as faculty in 2003. She is a "true generalist" loving both obstetrics and gynecology. Meg has a grown up son, Matthew, and a very supportive husband, Doug. She loves to read, garden, cook and buy shoes.

Special interests in the residency program: teaching surgical and obstetric skills using simulation, helping residents and students become educators.

Education super power: can make a model of most anything surgical using some variety of balloons, pool noodle and jello!

Emily Griffin, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Griffin grew up in Portland and lived in Seattle and the Bay Area before returning home for medical school and OBGYN residency at OHSU. As a National health Service Corps Scholar, she moved to a rural community on the East Coast where she practiced full scope general OBGYN and was involved in hospital administration. She returned to Portland in 2022 with her partner, kiddo, and elderly dog. Outside of work, she spends time working in her yard, attending kid sports, and riding bikes to Portland restaurants. 

Special interest in the residency program: Assessing clinical competency, preparing residents for the transition to independent clinical practice.

Jamie Lo, M.D., MCR.

Dr. Lo is a native Oregonian. She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley and completed medical school at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), followed by residency training at the University of Utah. She moved back to Portland and for her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at OHSU in 2012 and stayed on as faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at OHSU and as an Core Scientist at the Oregon National Primate Research Center (ONPRC). Her research focuses on developing advanced in-vivo methods for antenatal surveillance and studying the impact of environmental perturbations, especially the impact of cannabis use on reproductive health and the effects of maternal substance use, on prenatal, fetal and placental outcomes

Leo Han, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Han is from Boulder, Colorado. He completed medical school at Northwestern University, followed by residency training at the University of Colorado. He moved to Portland and OHSU for his fellowship in Family Planning in 2014 and stayed on as faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and as an Affiliate Scientist at the Oregon National Primate Research Center (ONPRC). His work focuses on improving the lives of women and families through contraception research, family planning clinical care, and training new reproductive health researchers. His research seeks to to address the unmet need for novel non-hormonal contraceptive methods.

Fatima Salas, M.H.A., C-TAGME

Fatima is originally from Los Angeles, CA and loves the Los Angeles Dodgers. She began working in Graduate Medical Education after earning a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of La Verne, in La Verne, CA. Fatima’s focus is on the management of the OBGYN GME programs, supporting the Medical Student Clerkship, Residency, and Fellowship Coordinators, as well as our faculty and amazing learners. She enjoys being a part of diversity and wellness initiatives within OHSU and in the OBGYN community. In her free time, she enjoys sewing gifts for loved ones and keeping up with her daughters around various Portland playgrounds.

Clarice Gilray, M.A.

Clarice was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon where she attended Oregon State University for an undergrad degree in English with a minor in Writing (Go Beavs!), and Lewis & Clark College for her Masters in Teaching. She spent several years teaching high school English and assisting students in credit recovery efforts; her favorite part about working in education is supporting learners in achieving their goals and finding ways to incorporate equity and empathy into her work. In her free time Clarice practices and coaches aerial/circus arts, reads Fantasy and Sci-Fi novels, enjoys boating with her partner and friends, and loves spending time with her attention seeking pets (dog, cat, snake).
