Faculty Scholars Program at the Moore Institute

Providing opportunities for collaboration

The OHSU Moore Institute for Nutrition & Wellness provides opportunities for faculty to leverage their expertise to advance our understanding of the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease. The Faculty Scholars Program provides opportunities for Scholars to collaborate within the developmental origins field, share work with the broader scientific and lay communities, and participate in lectures and courses related to women’s health, pregnancy and developmental origins.

Moore Institute Faculty Scholars are chosen from among OHSU and OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty who support the Moore Institute mission, and who:

  • serve as scientific experts on human developmental origins research, education or outreach programs related to early life and maternal nutrition, health or wellness,
  • share scientific information with Moore Institute constituents through our newsletters, conferences and events when available, and
  • represent the Moore Institute within their home departments.
