Graduation 2021

This year’s OHSU Virtual Commencement celebration is taking place Sunday, June 6, 2021, at 10:00 AM (PT).

The School of Medicine Graduate Studies program will also host a virtual graduation ceremony awarding degrees immediately following the OHSU Commencement Celebration at 11:00 AM (PT).  

Prepare for Graduation 2021 by completing the following tasks. 

  1. Check if you are eligible to graduate and review the 2021 Graduate Studies Commencement Guide
  2. Order Regalia online by Monday, April 12, 2021.
    1. Order your FREE Regalia at
      1. Select "Order a cap and gown"
      2. Follow the steps to select "School of Medicine" and then your campus and degree level
      3. Then select the "Cap & Gown" tab at the top of the screen.
      4. Then select the green "Graduation Regalia" button to order your free regalia. 
      5. All other packages, souvenir items, announcements, etc. are NOT paid for by Graduate Studies. The Graduate Studies office will not be responsible for paying for or reimbursing students for items ordered outside of the free "graduation regalia" option. 
    2. Standard graduation regalia (cap, gown, tassel, hood) and shipping costs are covered by the Graduate Studies Office and will be shipped directly to your provided home address. 
    3. You will receive Keeper Regalia which means you never have to return it and can keep it forever!
    4. When you order your regalia you can also purchase souvenir items, diploma frames, announcements, etc. These types of additional items are NOT paid for by Graduate Studies. The Grad Studies office will not be responsible for reimbursing students for items ordered and paid for outside of the free "graduation regalia" option. 
  3. Apply for your degree by Friday, April 16, 2021.
