Grand Rounds Details

Please join us (remotely) for a virtual Grand Rounds presentation, “Climate Change and Health Outcomes: The Urban Geography of Multnomah County” presented by Patricia Kullberg, M.D., M.P.H.

The presentation begins with a summary of the effects of climate change in the Pacific Northwest, the key adverse health outcomes associated with those effects, and the populations most susceptible to adverse effects. The geography of at-risk populations in Multnomah County will be illustrated in relationship to a number of social determinants of health. The concepts of healthy communities and climate resilience will discussed along with example strategies for improving climate resilience of both individuals and their communities.
