Join us for a panel discussion focused on the achievements and contributions of Hispanics in academic health and sciences. Panelists will include:

  • Juan Amador, FASAE, CAE, SACNAS Executive Director
  • Esteban Garza, M.D., Resident, Family Medicine, Hillsboro Medical Center
  • Tatiana Hoyos Gomez, M.D., Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery
  • Lillya Roldan, MD Candidate, Class of 2024

The discussion will be moderated by Leslie Garcia, M.P.A, E.d.D., Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually from September 15 - October 15 in the U.S. to recognize and celebrate the contributions of Hispanic Americans.
