Join colleagues for a presentation and discussion on parenting during this unique and ongoing pandemic. In addition to learning new strategies to help address current (and future) challenges and concerns, participants will be asked to share some of their own experiences and discuss how the pandemic has changed them in positive or unexpected ways. Come expecting to learn, share and perhaps even laugh upon reflection of what is involved with parenting during a pandemic.

This session will be presented by:

  • Tracey Biebel, LCSW, Practical Parenting private practice

  • Linda Schmidt, M.D., Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

  • Louise Elaine Vaz, M.D., M.P.H., Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Diseases

Presentation and discussion from noon - 1:30 p.m.

Presented in collaboration between between School of Medicine Faculty Development, the Office of Educational Improvement and Innovation and the OHSU COVID-Wellness Task Force.
