Our Chair, John Ma, M.D., F.A.C.E.P., traveled to the Midwest to join the University of Nebraska Medical Center as the keynote speaker for the Fourth Annual Tran Lectureship, which took place during their Annual Senior Resident Research Day.

Dr. Ma's speech was focused on professionalism and covered three key topics:

1. Identifying methods to behave in an ethical manner that inspires trust amongst patients and coworkers.
2. Demonstrating active ways to advocate for the needs and well-being of patients, learners, and others who we serve.
3. Strategies for achieving awareness of one's own perspectives and biases.
