The First Consultation for Depression in Primary Care:

The First Consultation for Depression in Primary Care: “Talk First, Prescribe Later & Diagnose Rarely”
We provide interprofessional learning experiences to inspire innovation in primary care. Practicing family physician, Dr. Bruce Arroll, is traveling from New Zealand to share evidence-based best practices with Oregon. He will discuss information from the FDA that shows the placebo-antidepressant difference for differing levels of depression severity. He promotes “talk first, prescribe later, and label people with diagnoses rarely.”
Dr. Bruce Arroll
