Infectious Diseases for the Non-Specialist

Course description
The overall objective of this activity is to prevent, accurately diagnose, and optimally treat infectious diseases.
Participants will also learn about new antibiotics and other therapeutic agents, updated practice guidelines, and strategies for prevention of infections, including the latest vaccine recommendations.
Case-based discussions and ample time for questions will supplement large group presentations. Participants will be able to immediately implement what they learn into their practices so that patient outcomes improve.

MOC
ABIM
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 11.5 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Reservations at Timberline Lodge
A block of rooms has been reserved for conference attendees. To reserve a room in the block call Timberline Lodge Reservations between 9am-4pm at (503) 272-3410 and identify yourself as an attendee of OHSU Infectious Disease conference. The room block will be released on May 15, 2022 and may sell out prior to that date. Rooms not reserved by this date will be released for general sale to the public.
