Frequently Asked Questions

IIBHT serves youth enrolled in the Oregon Health Plan, ages 0-20, with intensive behavioral needs. This includes youth that have multiple behavioral health diagnoses that are impacting their functioning in multiple life domains, have significant safety risks, and/or are at risk of out-of-home treatment or placement.

Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) contract with community mental health agencies to provide IIBHT to their members. Contact your CCO for more information about how to access IIBHT and visit the Oregon Health Authority's IIBHT website for more information.

IIBHT is available to youth who have the Oregon Health Plan, including those who have Open Card.

The IIBHT team works closely with families to identify an array of services that will best meet their needs. Services that are available include in-home individual and family therapy, case management, psychiatric care, skills training, peer support, and proactive and 24/7 crisis response.
