Dr. Hansen a featured presenter at 2018 MedTech
Dr. Matthew Hansen, associate professor in dept of emergency medicine, was a featured presenter at 2018 MedTech showcase. He gave a pitch on the technology HydraSense being developed by Dr. Sheridan, assistant professor of emergency medicine, and himself in the department of emergency medicine’s IDEA-EM group. This technology is currently in clinical testing and undergoing a second generation iteration to improve the device further. MedTech brings innovators, entrepreneurs, industry, venture capitalists among others together to learn about early stage technologies.
