Type 1 Diabetes Support Group
Our free type 1 diabetes support group (for ages 18+) involves sharing and learning from others also living with type 1 diabetes in the following areas:
- Treatment changes, benefits, and challenges
- Physical and emotional experiences
- Coping strategies
If the group desires, a professional from the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center will also present a short diabetes-related topic to generate discussion. Our support group is open to all people living with or caring for someone with type 1 diabetes. You do not need to be an OHSU patient to attend our group.
