About me

Dr. Marie is Clinical Associate Professor with practice and leadership roles at Old Town Clinic, Central City Concern. She has over 30 years of experience with adults with serious mental illnesses, trauma and substance use disorders. She is passionate about providing "radical respect" and hope, differential diagnosis and excellence in psychopharmacology. Dr. Marie nationally teaches suicide prevention and psychopharmacology to mental health professionals. Her dissertation described living with schizophrenia.

Dr. Marie was previously faculty with the University of Utah SON, and has been faculty with OHSU since 2010. 

Dr. Marie is the Senior Medical Consultant for Behavioral Health in Primary Care at  Central City Concern. Dr. Marie's work developing integrated behavioral health within primary care settings has been noted in the Robert Wood Johnson LEAP initiative and was awarded by the Oregon Primary Care Association in 2013.
