Biography

Dr. Karalunas’ conducts assessments with children and families, with a special emphasis on differential diagnosis and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation. She has experience working with children and families with a range of presenting concerns, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning problems, and many other common neurodevelopmental and psychological disorders of childhood. Dr. Karalunas’ research interests are closely related to her clinical practice. Her research focuses on better understanding the cognitive difficulties often experienced by children with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders, and in improving assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders by focusing on unique individual differences between children.
