About me

Dr. Taub pursued a career in medicine after working in the field of medical ethics for almost a decade. She finds it extremely rewarding to work closely with patients and their families in the general pediatric clinic and inside the hospital. Her priority, in addition to helping children reach their full potential, is to empower kids and their caregivers to play an active role in their health and other aspects of their care.

She sees a variety of patients, including kids who come to clinic for routine check-ups and acute visits, toddlers with developmental needs, school age children and adolescents with behavioral health problems, and those with weight and obesity issues.  Additionally, her fellowship training in pediatric hospice and palliative medicine has provided her with invaluable tools to help support patients with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families with complex decision making conversations. She is comfortable caring for patients who are enrolled in hospice, as well as helping to manage pain and other symptoms that can occur at the end of life.

A dual citizen, Dr. Taub grew up in France, but has lived in various parts of the US for the past two decades. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and eating, home remodeling, and engaging in the many cultural offerings available in Portland. In addition, she and her family have a great affinity for the outdoors, which they celebrate with runs, hikes, camping, ski trips, among other endeavors.
